Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Servisource, part of the Cpl group, are seeking to recruit a part-time Bookings Coordinator to join our existing Central Support Care Services (previously Out of Hours) team.

The Bookings Coordinator manages all aspects of out-of-hours agency staffing, including daytime cover when requested. The role involves placing staff with clients for shifts in healthcare facilities and the community.

Out-of-hours work is defined as work outside standard office hours, i.e., Monday to Friday 4:30pm – 10pm, Saturday to Sunday 7am – 10pm. Daytime work is during office hours, i.e., Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, personable, and a problem solver with a positive attitude. Flexibility to take additional shifts outside scheduled hours is required. This fast-paced role suits someone who enjoys challenges and teamwork to achieve staffing solutions.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Managing out-of-hours agency staffing, especially in Healthcare & Homecare divisions in Ireland and the UK.
  • Managing daytime staffing when requested.
  • Filling vacant shifts promptly and coordinating with staff and clients.
  • Handling unforeseen sick leave and no-shows efficiently, recording communications accurately.
  • Answering calls promptly and recording interactions correctly.
  • Addressing payroll queries and liaising with Payroll Department.
  • Utilizing systems fully and logging all contacts appropriately.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in administrative or clerical roles.
  • Flexibility for additional shifts outside scheduled hours.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to listen, guide, and coordinate staff efficiently.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Effective time management and workload prioritization.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions outside operational hours.
  • Proficiency in IT and systems.
