About Our Client

The client are leaders in the sustainable investment and private equity space and are looking to hire an Associate Director, Marketing to come on board and lead on their Intermediary and Retail channels for the business. This role is based in London, with hybrid working.

Intermediary and retail experience is required, specifically within tax/estate planning.

Job Description

Key responsibilities for the Associate Director, Marketing:

This role is focused on the planning, execution and promotion of the firm's investment offerings to financial advisors, discretionary fund managers and other intermediaries.

This role has a primary focus on enhancing the brand, its investment capabilities and products to help meet business objectives and ensure our investment products remain top of mind for advisors and gatekeepers.

The successful candidate will be a marketing generalist with strong experience across all client channels and a variety of investment capabilities. The candidate will play a key role to develop and deliver impactful marketing programmes to raise and position the profile of the firm as a leading provider of products and solutions to this audience and increase funds under management.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to help achieve both short- and long-term sales and retention goals and raise brand and product awareness in the various channels.
  • Be able to combine input and feedback from numerous stakeholders and create engaging content to suit a variety of channel segments.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including sales leadership, strategic partners, investment teams and internal subject matter experts to establish strategic direction and ensure alignment on content creation and messaging.
  • Ensure consistency in the company's voice, key messages, and editorial style across markets, channels, and media.
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in financial markets with an ability to identify key opportunities to educate the firm's clientele.
  • Work closely with Digital marketing executive on preparation and delivery of the digital elements of the marketing plan.
  • Work with product marketing in managing and developing our product enablement material for these channels.
  • Management of marketing budget for all channel segments.
  • Managing a team of 2 direct reports.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate:

  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience within financial services, investment management.
  • Experience with tax/ estate planning preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the advisory and discretionary audience as well as key marketing channels for campaign activation.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Strong team management skills.
  • Proven organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the asset management regulatory environment.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
