Description

The Langham, London; Europe's first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Director of Rooms to join our talented team. We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.

In the role of the Director of Rooms, your key focus will be to:

  • plan, organise and direct the day-to-day activities of all Rooms Division departments;
  • develop and implement strategies to raise product, service and guest satisfaction levels;
  • review daily productivity and efficiency of Rooms Division departments and ensure that matters requiring follow-up are satisfactorily resolved;
  • work with Sales & Marketing and Food & Beverage on new revenue streams, revenue/yield and service quality improvements;
  • ensure compliance with all corporate, mystery shop and loyalty programme standards; and
  • inspire and motivate Rooms Division colleagues to recommend and implement initiatives to gain competitive advantage.

Do you have?

  • Experience of managing multiple teams
  • Experience of luxury and volume driven operations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Front Office systems
  • In-depth exposure to Housekeeping operations
  • A luxury mind-set and the drive and determination to make change
