Why LNER?
We go beyond. For everyone. Our vision is to be the most loved, progressive and responsible way to travel for generations to come. Now we're looking for the people who can deliver this, every day.
Since we took over on the East Coast mainline, we've been changing the face of rail travel. Our new Azuma train has brought faster journey times, more space and greater reliability. Our exciting plans to embrace new ideas, experiences, backgrounds and ambitions make this the ideal time to join.
Bringing passion. Being bold. Always caring. Owning it. They're the values that make us LNER.
Are you on board?
With the announcement last month that we will be introducing 10 "tri-mode" trains to the East Coast Main Line, the next couple of years look to be a busy yet exciting time particularly for our Fleet Procurement Team. The new trains, which can run on battery power, electricity and diesel are expected to come into service by the end of 2027 and will run alongside our existing Azuma fleet. Successfully delivering this new fleet will be an integral part of our Business Plan, allowing us to carry more customers, more often and reliably, helping to grow the business sustainably and moving us closer to achieving our vision.
With this in mind, we have created an exciting opportunity to join our Fleet Procurement Team as a Fleet Procurement Joint Project Manager. Within this role you will be responsible for managing the delivery of the Manufacture and Supply Agreement on behalf or LNER and the Owner. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the new fleet meets the requirements of all stakeholders and that it is delivered in line with contracted milestones and on budget.
