Join Us as a Kitchen Assistant at Chartwells

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to be the heart of our operation at Chartwells. This is a part-time role, contracted for 16 hours per week, with shift patterns typically covering 5 out of 7 days. Please note, this role is contracted for 43 weeks per year.

Your Responsibilities:

• Preparing high-quality, delicious food for our clients and customers.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring proper use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Representing Chartwells positively and maintaining our brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Following Health & Safety regulations.
• Managing pressure, prioritizing tasks, and communicating effectively.
• Being an excellent team player with a committed and organized approach.
• Working flexibly shifts and demonstrating reliability and timekeeping.
