Job Summary:

Our OneSubsea Graduate Engineers are our future technical leaders and managers. The programme, for OneSubsea Graduate Engineers, provides opportunities for candidates to develop skills and product knowledge, including leadership, customer interaction, and the delivery of all aspects of the Engineering scope of supply to meet high internal standards. Our Graduate Engineers can also work towards professional membership with a recognised professional body. At the end of the 18-month programme, engineers can use our career ladders and development programmes to further their progression within the organisation. Success in this role will reward you with a lasting career as an expert working at the forefront of technological innovation.

The 18-month development programme is split into 3 modules, including engineering discipline-specific and cross-functional rotations. After onboarding, Graduate Engineers will undertake two 6-month rotations across different Engineering Business Lines, spend 3 months at a manufacturing or re-manufacturing location, and 3 months in a cross-functional rotation in Project Management, Sales and Tendering, or Field Service.

Based at our modern offices on the outskirts of Leeds, you will learn the business from the ground up to become a skilled and confident specialist in the sector. We offer a hybrid working pattern, allowing a mix of office presence and remote work. During the initial training period, you will be required to be in the office most of the time.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

During the training programme, your principal responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing engineering documentation that meets relevant industry and client standards to enable product and service delivery.
  2. Carrying out design and development work under the guidance of experienced engineers to meet customer and industry needs.
  3. Working within established procedures to ensure design and service records are maintained.
  4. Developing in-depth knowledge of our products, design principles, industry standards, manufacturing techniques, and field operations to support safe, reliable, and economical designs.
  5. Participating in Value Engineering/Analysis initiatives.
  6. Providing technical support to other disciplines, including input to risk assessments and problem-solving.

Qualification/Entry Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Be globally mobile.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment on high-value, technically complex products/projects.
  • The right to work in the UK.
