Investment Operations and Performance Analyst

What you'll be doing:

1. Providing technical support to the Investment Operations and Asset Allocation teams within the Investment Business Unit.
2. Activities include fund monitoring, performance collation, and analysis across portfolios.
3. Supporting the Head of Investment Operations with technical analysis for projects, including creating VBA and macro Excel spreadsheets and integrating proprietary systems.
4. Managing deep dive analyses of trading positions, cash flows, performance attribution, and price comparisons relative to index movements and benchmarks.
5. Assisting in defining and ensuring delivery of reporting requirements for various business areas.
6. Supporting the Head of Asset Allocation with performance analysis, including FX.
7. Generating datasets for investment committee materials.
8. Contributing to board papers related to performance.

What we’re looking for:

1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in the financial industry.
2. Progress towards CFA, IMC, or equivalent qualification.
3. Experience in investment or pension environments with a good understanding of financial markets.
4. Experience in fund performance oversight and monitoring.
5. Quantitative skills and familiarity with programming.
