Art Teacher
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner for the right candidate)
Contract Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: £140.96 to £218.53 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school located in Tamworth, which is looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic Teacher of Art to join their dynamic Art, Design & Technology faculty.

This opportunity is suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced professionals.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Inspire students using a variety of creative materials and artistic methods
  • Contribute to the wider Art, Design & Technology faculty in curriculum planning and enrichment
  • Motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities to reach their full potential
  • Maintain excellent classroom management and a positive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (Instructors and educators working toward QTLS also considered)
  • Has a passion for visual arts and design
  • Is committed to raising attainment and promoting creativity in the classroom
  • Can work collaboratively within a team of subject specialists
  • Demonstrates strong communication and planning skills

Additional Information:

  • Pay will be based on MPS/UPS depending on experience
