An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Psychological Therapist to join their innovative Mental Health-Wellbeing Integrated Network Team in South Glos. We are looking to recruit a Psychological Therapist to the established Mental Health-Wellbeing Integrated Network Team (MINT) in South Glos. We welcome applicants with professional qualifications in Psychology, Nursing, OT or Social Work with substantial experience of delivering psychological therapies. As part of the Community Mental Health Framework, we are delivering an exciting transformation programme to support people with mental health needs to get the help they need efficiently, and close to home.
The team aims to meet the needs of service users that fall through the gap between primary and secondary care services. You will provide psychological therapies to service users as well as formulations and consultation, to multidisciplinary professionals both within the team and to partner agencies. You will have close links with the Local Psychological Therapies Service. This new and exciting role will be well supported by a range of opportunities for continue professional development, accreditation in CBT, DBT and EMDR. An interest in the application of Critical Community Psychology principles into this post will be welcomed. As a service we are committed to addressing issues of structural inequalities and oppression that often create barriers in the provision of equitable care for the service user groups in the Locality.
