More about the Role
This leadership position involves providing academic and pedagogical direction for the department, working closely with the Senior Leadership team to prioritize 'Students First'. You should be an inspiring leader, energetic, creative, and capable of motivating your team. You must be an excellent teacher with KS3 and KS4 experience and possess leadership qualities to challenge and support colleagues to achieve outstanding results.
The role includes working strategically with Trust mathematics leaders and a network of outstanding Heads of Mathematics and Senior Leaders across the Outwood Family of Schools.
There are significant opportunities for professional development within the Trust, including potential pathways to Senior Leadership or becoming a Director of Mathematics across multiple academies. This role offers the chance to develop your leadership skills and make a broader impact on colleagues and students.
