If you are a current Deputy Head of Maths or an ambitious teacher seeking the next step, we would like to hear from you.

About the Academy

Outwood Academy Redcar serves students aged 11-16 in the scenic coastal town of Redcar, near Middlesbrough in the North-East.

Our academy is dedicated to fostering innovation and creativity, providing an inspiring learning environment that develops technical skills and a passion for design and technology, preparing students for future challenges.

We pride ourselves on a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment, emphasizing opportunities beyond the classroom and maintaining high standards through a close-knit staff team.

You should be an inspiring leader, energetic, creative, and capable of motivating your team. You must be an excellent teacher with KS3 and KS4 experience and possess leadership qualities to challenge and support colleagues to achieve outstanding results.

The role includes working strategically with Trust mathematics leaders and a network of outstanding Heads of Mathematics and Senior Leaders across the Outwood Family of Schools.
