Commercial Manager, Public Protection and Integrated Enforcement Division, East London

Pay rate £400 per day

Contract role, Local Government Communities Directorate

Pertemps are recruiting an experienced Commercial Manager in East London.

You will need experience in a similar role within a Local Authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy and delivery plan aimed at achieving significant income growth across community safety, integrated enforcement, and regulatory services.
• Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities in the borough within areas such as integrated enforcement, ASB services, CCTV services and infrastructure, and regulatory services including street trading and markets.
• Collaborate with service managers, external partners, and senior leadership to embed a commercial culture and innovative service models.
• Lead business planning, market analysis, and service redesign initiatives to create sustainable and profitable service offerings.
• Develop robust business cases, pricing models, and performance frameworks to drive results and ensure accountability.

• Experienced in community safety, regulatory services, and enforcement, with an understanding of the associated challenges and opportunities.
