Job Description:

Job Title: Quality Operations Project Coordinator

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Support and engage with vendor quality stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee quality at the vendor level in a cross-vendor engagement, maintaining high standards.
  • Monitor cross-vendor communications to ensure compliance with guidelines.
  • Assist with recruiting, testing, onboarding, and training of LQA specialists.
  • Manage translation feedback: relay requests and feedback to vendors and stakeholders.
  • Support the maintenance of linguistic assets, including terminology updates and Style Guides.
  • Manage LQA tasks: oversee hand-offs, implement feedback, and conduct root cause analyses.
  • Triage and oversee a queue for general vendor linguist inquiries.
  • Report on quality results, keeping internal trackers updated and creating reports as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Localization project or quality management, ideally on the vendor side.
  • Proficient with localization platforms, file formats, CAT tools, and translation management systems (e.g., SDL Trados Studio).
  • Strong communication skills, especially with culturally diverse audiences.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude with adaptability to change.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with localization quality management best practices.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience in cross-vendor communications within localization.
  • Understanding of the localization industry and quality management.
  • Proficiency in languages other than English is a plus.
