Job Description

We are collaborating with a leading global Big 4 consultancy firm to recruit a Manager, Oracle Planning, in the Business Consulting team. This recruitment is driven by outstanding market performance and growth, and the successful candidate will specialize in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and will work closely with stakeholders across the business to design and build models tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Specialize in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) within the FCM team, working closely with stakeholders to design and build tailored models.
  2. Assist the Solution Architect in delivering custom Oracle EPBCS solutions to meet business needs.
  3. Understand data requirements and associated calculation logic, translating them into data integrations and model designs.
  4. Develop models on the Oracle EPBCS platform, including prototype builds, testing, and business integration.
  5. Drive the development of model metadata, calculations/rules, forms, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
  6. Build data integrations to move data into, out of, and between models.
  7. Lead training, knowledge transfer, and provide support post go-live.
  8. Contribute to an environment that fosters finance innovation, leading new ways of working, delivery models, and technological advancements.

The ideal candidate needs:

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
  • Experience with data modelling, integrations, and business processes.
  • Lead development of multi-dimensional models on the Oracle EPM platform, including configuration and optimisation.
  • Proficient in understanding complex business data requirements and building analytical models for insights.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical background with keen attention to detail.
