This is a fantastic opportunity for a keen and enthusiastic Transport Assistant needed to join a local organisation and assist with the day-to-day management of the administration function in their busy Transport Department.
Some of your duties will include:
Providing general administrative, clerical, and customer service support in the Transport Department
Maintaining an up-to-date record of vehicle and driver documentation on the computer system
Liaising with drivers, insurance companies, and vehicle repair companies and handling general enquiries
Ensuring vehicle and driver corporate compliance and legal requirements are up to date
Assisting with devising driver daily routes and issuing instructions
Handling any queries received from drivers and resolving all issues
