Job description

Based: Falkirk (onsite Monday to Friday)

Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are currently recruiting for an engineering manufacturing organisation based in the Falkirk area. We have an excellent opportunity for an Account Manager to join the team on a permanent basis due to continued growth.

This is a site-based role, working as part of a small, busy team and reporting to the UK Sales Manager. There is a clear pathway and opportunity to develop and progress internally within the organisation.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Build and maintain relationships with customers, gaining a clear understanding of their business needs and future forecasting.
  2. Provide technical product specification, availability and pricing.
  3. Negotiate and influence customers.
  4. Manage and follow up on sales quotations.
  5. Provide exceptional levels of customer service.
  6. Allocate stock to orders and source products from approved suppliers where required.
  7. Liaise with internal teams including distribution, quality, procurement, logistics, etc.
  8. Point of contact for customers throughout the lifecycle of the sales process right through to delivery.
  9. Achieve customer account revenue targets.

Background Required:
  1. Experience of working in a similar account management and/or sales role.
  2. Previous experience or capability of working with technical products.
  3. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
  4. Ability to take ownership of tasks and use initiative, with a flexible approach to support in a team environment.
  5. Confident, resilient and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Confident IT skills including MS Office, CRM, ERP systems.
