We are seeking a dedicated apprenticeship tutor to join our dynamic team at Logistics UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training within the transport sector, specifically for the Transport Operations Supervisor Level 3 apprenticeship program. This role requires industry expertise to deliver the Transport Manager CPC, including team-leading components. The successful candidate will support a high-quality experience for apprentices and their employers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain strong relationships with employers to foster ongoing partnerships.

  • Mark apprentices' work accurately and promptly, ensuring fairness.

  • Deliver commercial courses when required.
  • Promote and ensure safeguarding and wellbeing of apprentices.
  • Comply with safeguarding, Prevent, and Health & Safety policies, being vigilant to risks.
  • Recognize and respond to safeguarding concerns appropriately.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies and legislation.
  • Undertake learning and development activities, maintaining CPD records.
  • Attend standardisation and team meetings.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the transport sector, especially in delivering Transport Manager CPC and team-leading training.
  • Teaching/Training qualification level 3 or above, or willingness to work towards if applying as Trainee Tutor.
  • Strong knowledge of transport legislation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to identify training needs and implement solutions.
  • High numeracy and literacy levels with attention to detail.
  • Transport Manager CPC qualification holder.
  • Passion for education and training.
  • Commitment to high-quality training delivery.
  • Adaptable and flexible to a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with apprentices and employers.

Recruitment checks:

The successful applicant will need to provide two references and consent to an enhanced DBS check, including information on previous convictions if shortlisted.
