Job Title: School Administrative Assistant

Salary: £23,942.69 - £25,420.86 per year (pro-rata for part-time, term-time position)

Contract: Permanent

Type: Part Time

Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive clerical and administrative service to support the operations of Kilbowie Primary School. Your duties include ensuring the smooth operation of the school office, providing a welcoming reception, managing school data accurately, and handling general office tasks such as photocopying, filing, mail distribution, and assisting with transport and trip arrangements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.

Requirements

This role is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Membership of the PVG scheme is required, or the candidate must undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to employment.

Responsibilities

The employment is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975. Applicants must disclose all convictions, including spent ones, as failure to do so may result in dismissal or disciplinary action.
