Job description

Looking for a part-time role that will continue to grow your HR career? This is an opportunity for an established HR professional to support an award-winning content marketing agency and publisher, which produces high-profile magazine titles, events, and digital content.

The role is three days per week, ideally based on-site in central London offices.

They are seeking an experienced HR professional at least at the HR Manager level, with a proven track record of success in establishing, implementing, and leading HR systems and processes within publishing, media, sales, tech, or other fast-paced, people-centric businesses. The company offers a lively working culture and plenty of scope to make the role your own.

The role will include:

  1. Independently advising staff on HR policies, procedures, and administration
  2. Overseeing recruitment processes and onboarding
  3. Employee engagement and helping to create a dynamic, empowered, and people-focused working culture
  4. Training and development
  5. Selecting and implementing a new HRIS
  6. Building and maintaining positive employee relations and providing solutions to complex people issues

You will need:

  1. Previous HR Manager-level experience, ideally gained within media or an agency environment
  2. A thorough understanding of HR procedures and up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation
  3. Excellent data management, IT, and analytical skills
  4. Superb communication skills and the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels
  5. Ideally CIPD qualified
  6. Excellent leadership and people management skills
