Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to join Jack's Family Restaurants team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper placement and organization of stock. Additionally, this role will work closely with IT field technicians to ensure they have the necessary parts and materials to complete their jobs efficiently. This is an onsite position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Supplies & Inventory – Track stock levels and place orders to maintain adequate inventory.
  • Receive & Inspect Shipments – Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality before adding to inventory.
  • Inventory Management – Organize, label, and place inventory items in designated locations.
  • Stock Counting & Auditing – Perform regular inventory checks to ensure counts are accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate with Field Technicians – Ensure field technicians have the necessary parts, tools, and materials for their tasks.
  • Configure Equipment as Needed – Set up and prepare IT-related hardware or other equipment before deployment.
  • Manage Equipment RMAs – Handle the return of broken or defective equipment to vendors, ensuring timely processing.
  • Ship Equipment to Stores – Oversee packaging and shipment of necessary equipment to store locations.
  • Data Entry & Documentation – Maintain precise inventory records using Quickbase.
  • Warehouse Organization – Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and operates efficiently.
  • Assist with Shipping & Receiving – Help with packing, labeling, and processing outgoing shipments as needed.
  • Follow Safety Guidelines – Adhere to warehouse safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory management experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong communications skills.
