- We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex health needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Working Hours:
You will be part of a team that is responsible for delivering the following hours:
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 9:30am increasing to the additional afternoon hours once the client is settled with their support worker.
The additional afternoon hours will be 1pm - 7pm
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering personalised care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
- Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours.
