School Finance Manager | Barking & Dagenham

Do you hold experience as a School Finance Manager and are looking for a new, exciting role?

This dynamic School Finance Manager role offers an exhilarating opportunity to collaborate closely with the CEO and the school's leadership team, ensuring that each school achieves its financial aims.

As the School Finance Manager, you'll be at the forefront of budget negotiations, influencing financial matters and ensuring strict compliance with regulations. This role requires a leader who will spearhead the planning, development, and organisation of vital functions like finance, technology, and premises, all while guiding a small Finance team.

This position isn't just about meeting standards; it's about setting new benchmarks for professionalism, literacy, and numeracy, all while determining the strategic course for the future growth and success of the schools in this trust.

As the School Finance Manager, you will already be a practitioner at a successful school with real ambition to improve the educational environment of the pupils at this trust. You will be expected to further enhance the uniquely positive culture where every child is expected to excel and where their progress is supported each step of the way.

School Finance Manager Role

Salary range: £45,000-£55,000

Contract type: Full time, Permanent, 52 weeks

School Finance Manager Requirements:

  1. A proven track record in managing a school finance function to the highest standard, constantly striving to seek improvements in processes.
  2. Accountancy qualifications essential.
  3. Strong IT skills and the ability to manage, interrogate and interpret data, with experience of managing and operating key financial systems.
  4. The ability to manage a finance team, delegating as appropriate, multitasking and working to tight deadlines.
