Our client is a medium sized business based in Leicestershire, they have an immediate requirement to recruit a professional and proven Management Accountant into their team.
Job Description
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Preparing and submitting monthly management accounts for review by the Board of Directors.
Conducting in-depth analysis of financial data and presenting insights to the management team.
Collaborating with external auditors to facilitate the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
Gathering and submitting weekly and monthly payroll data to our third-party payroll provider.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial controls and procedures.
Maintaining and reconciling the balance sheet, including the management of fixed asset registers.
Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns, annual P11Ds, and PSA returns to HMRC.
Assisting with the development of monthly cost centre reviews.
Acting as a deputy for the Financial Controller as needed.
The Successful Applicant
ACCA/CIMA/ACA Part Qualified or QBE
A minimum of 2-3 years of recent experience in a similar role.
Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas.
