Are you passionate about helping others succeed? TP Tutors is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic tutors to support learners in Alvaston, Derbyshire, as they prepare for their Functional Skills qualifications in English and/or Maths.

About the Role
We are looking for committed individuals to provide high-quality, personalised tuition on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Whether you are an experienced tutor or have a background in education, this is a chance to make a real difference in your local community.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging sessions tailored to individual learning needs

Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to support development

Encourage motivation, build confidence, and promote independent study skills

What We’re Looking For

Experience in tutoring or education (Functional Skills experience is an advantage)

Strong subject knowledge in English and/or Maths

A patient, supportive approach with a genuine passion for helping learners thrive

A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential
