This strategic initiative spans multiple departments—including investment, operations, and finance—and marks a significant commitment to embedding AI at the heart of the business.

We are now seeking a Senior AI Strategist to act as the technical brain behind this vision. This pivotal role will provide deep AI expertise and thought leadership, working alongside senior business stakeholders and a trusted third-party build partner responsible for delivery.

This is a rare and high-impact opportunity to shape the future of AI within a sophisticated financial institution—helping define the roadmap, steer the design of key AI initiatives, and ensure projects deliver tangible innovation and business value across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Shape, evolve, and influence the firm's enterprise-wide AI roadmap.
• Provide technical AI leadership across multiple departments, including finance, operations, and investment.
• Collaborate with a third-party technology partner to steer AI project design and ensure effective execution.
• Act as an internal thought leader, proposing innovative use cases and possibilities for AI across the business.
• Translate complex AI concepts into meaningful strategies for senior stakeholders.
• Guide the business on the art of the possible with AI—balancing vision with practical impact.
• Ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery through ongoing consultation.

We are looking for:

• Investment management experience is essential.
• Strong academic foundation in Computer Science, Mathematics, or AI-related fields.
• Experience applying AI creatively—not just implementing solutions, but architecting them.
• A confident and credible communicator

If you fit this criteria we would love to hear from you. The nature of this role is part time on average 2-4 days per week with flexibility. With offices in central London you would be expected to attend key meetings in person as and when, but the majority of this work will be remote.
