Job Description

• Manage and improve financial processes and systems within the department.
• Prepare and submit accurate financial reports and statements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to streamline financial operations.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor financial transactions and audit financial documents.
• Provide financial advice and guidance to the team and stakeholders.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Officer should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in Higher Education is a must.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
