Community Liaison Officer

Location: Glasgow

Reporting to: Community Engagement Manager

Full-time (Monday - Saturday) (Shift Pattern)

Salary and Benefits:

  • £25,000 Basic Salary
  • Uncapped Commission (OTE including Commission now £47,000)
  • £250 a month car allowance
  • Business travel paid

About the Role:

  • You will be the first point of contact for residents in our network build areas.
  • Your role involves door-to-door engagement, informing residents about the upcoming network build and its benefits.
  • Understand community usage, current providers, costs, and potential benefits of our network.
  • Capture resident contact information for updates and future communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage confidently with residents at their doorstep and at local events.
  • Follow the build program to ensure community awareness of the rollout.
  • Collect and manage resident contact details to keep them informed and encourage network adoption post-build.
  • This is a field role requiring a valid driving license and local area knowledge.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly engagement and conversion targets.

Travel will be required to locations including East Kilbride, Coatbridge, Hamilton, Irvine – Bourtree, and Cumbernauld.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Full driving license essential.
  • Enjoys engaging conversations with new people.
  • Experience in sales, lead generation, customer service, or field sales is preferred but not essential (training provided).
  • Good knowledge of local areas.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and professional work ethic.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
