A leading healthcare provider in London seeks a Health and Safety Advisor to enhance compliance with health and safety legislation. The role involves leadership in risk management and policy development across the Trust, ensuring effective systems are in place to mitigate risks and improve safety standards.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Health and Safety team as a Health and Safety Advisor.
This post presents an excellent opportunity to work across the organization, assisting in the implementation of a health and safety strategy that ensures compliance with legislation within the Trust.

Working with the Health and Safety Manager, the post holder will provide leadership in developing and implementing effective risk management strategies and health and safety policies across the Trust. The role involves developing a risk-based culture, engaging with clinical and non-clinical colleagues, senior managers, and stakeholders to ensure effective health and safety systems are in place to identify, manage, and mitigate risks.
You must demonstrate proven experience in a senior NHS role, be familiar with health and safety legislation, and have experience in complex risk assessments and leading serious accident investigations, including RIDDOR. The post requires ensuring root causes are identified, lessons are learned, and measures are implemented promptly.
You will provide leadership and expert knowledge on health and safety risk management, contribute to operational service delivery aligned with Trust objectives, and ensure compliance with statutory health and safety requirements through continuous improvement and audits. Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools is essential.
