Job Opportunity: Chef at Chartwells

We are currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food that brightens our clients' and customers' days, within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Note: This role is contracted to 44 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights clients and customers
  • Overseeing menu changes and implementing new concepts
  • Identifying opportunities to improve food services
  • Acting on customer feedback for continuous improvement
  • Supporting the creation of new menus and food ideas
  • Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitoring inventories to ensure well-stocked kitchens
  • Maintaining hygiene standards through kitchen cleaning responsibilities
  • Adhering to Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations
Ideal Candidate:
  • Passionate about great-tasting food and customer service
  • Possesses a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Experience in a similar Chef role
  • Holds a Food Hygiene certificate
  • Flexible approach to working hours
