Join our team as a Sales Executive - Hybrid Sales, where you will play a crucial role in Territory Management and Business Development within your assigned territory of existing primary and secondary customers. Under the guidance of the District Director, you will drive sales of Cencora products, focus on customer retention, ensure contract compliance, and implement effective solutions.

In addition, you will have the exciting opportunity to prospect and develop new business within the independent retail segments.   • Leverages Hybrid Selling: Utilizes both in-person and virtual selling techniques to connect with customers, creating a flexible, efficient, and effective sales strategy that enhances productivity and customer experience.
  • Team-Based Selling: Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align strategies and achieve sales goals, ensuring seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
  • Technological Proficiency: Demonstrates high proficiency in using digital tools and platforms, including social media, to enhance sales activities and customer engagement.
  • Sales to existing customers and new business development prospecting.
  • Meets or exceeds sales targets for revenue, profit, and margin growth within your territory.
  • Ensures ongoing contract compliance and negotiates Prime Vendor Agreements (PVA).
  • Responsible for sales expansion and developing new business leads, including closing smaller deals.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within your territory, including overnight and weekend travel.
  • Solutions Implementation and Service Excellence: Leads onboarding and implementation of customer solutions, ensuring full adoption and value realization.
  • Maintains knowledge of customer invoicing, payments, and works with Accounts Receivable as needed.
  • Ensures proper branding and signage in customer stores and promotes educational opportunities.
  • Partners across functions to execute sales strategies tailored to customer needs.
  • Account and Territory Planning: Develops annual strategic plans, utilizes sales reporting tools, and manages territory efficiently.
  • Professional Development: Engages in ongoing learning, completes training, and develops skills to enhance sales performance.
  • Builds a strong understanding of customer businesses, industry trends, and benchmarks KPIs to provide strategic insights.
  • Shapes customer demand by educating about industry trends and business practices, and tailors sales presentations accordingly.
  • Comfortable discussing financials, challenging customer perspectives, and negotiating deals.

Requirements:

Successful application of consultative selling skills, with a background in business, sales, marketing, or related fields, typically with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Usually requires 5+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals, retail, or healthcare segments.

  • Ability to analyze market trends, teach customers, and negotiate deals.
  • Knowledge of retail and healthcare industries, effective communication skills, and the ability to influence others.
  • Understanding of financial concepts relevant to sales.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and time management skills.
