West Sussex - Buyer - £35k-£45k - Electronics

Platform Recruitment has partnered with a leading provider of power electronics solutions. They are looking to recruit a Buyer to join their team. You will perform various purchasing assignments and activities to support daily material needs with limited supervision.

Main Duties:

1. Coordinating purchasing activities to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner
2. Acquiring technical understanding of products purchased
3. Obtaining materials using RFQ, negotiation, and cost analysis techniques
4. Maximizing material availability while minimizing inventory

Key Skills:

1. At least 3 -5 years in Purchasing/Planning environment
2. Experience in a fast paced, high mix/low volume purchasing environment
3. Previous experience in electronics purchasing

Salary/Location:

1. The salary for this position is £35k-£45k, depending on experience
2. This role is based in West Sussex, onsite 5 days per week
