Principal Planning Officer

Salary Details: £44,308 - £51,006 Inclusive of 7.5% Market Premium

Candidate Profile

This is an exciting time for the London Borough of Bexley as we are at the heart of regeneration and change as London moves east.

We are seeking ambitious and experienced Senior / Principal Planners who have successfully started their planning careers, with substantial experience in Development Management. You will be capable of leading a wide range of large-scale, complex applications. The ideal candidate will hold relevant Planning qualifications and be eligible for RTPI membership. You should be ambitious for new opportunities, work well in a supportive, dynamic, and friendly team, mentor junior staff, and assist in team management.

This role is crucial for delivering the Council's strategic priorities to meet the Borough's growth ambitions through new Local Plan policies.
