Job description

Client Manager – Invoice Finance – Sussex

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Client Manager to join one of the UK’s leading providers of Financial Services to businesses. Based from their office in Sussex, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of Invoice Finance facilities throughout the South East.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Proactively managing client relationships, maintaining excellent levels of customer service.
  2. Undertaking client visits in line with the agreed schedule with accurate and consistent reporting in the agreed format and timescales. Undertake onboarding meetings prior to payout and ensure all pre-commencement conditions are adhered to.
  3. Ensuring that all required risk-reducing actions are prioritised, adequately resourced, and tracked to completion. Appropriately risk grading each client facility in accordance with the risk policy and escalate client/risk concerns through the appropriate internal channels.
  4. Ensuring that both monitoring and watch clients are escalated to your line manager and reported on monthly.

Key Skills:

  1. Previous experience managing a portfolio of clients.
  2. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.

Operational experience within Factoring or Invoice Discounting is essential, with a detailed understanding of Financial Accounting, Business Finance & Risk Management also preferable.
