Role overview:

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide professional front of house and office services across multiple locations, including Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, Guildford, and London.

Ideal for someone looking to start their career in a law firm environment with potential career progression opportunities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors, managing the signing in of contractors, and providing refreshments for client meetings.
  • Setting up meeting rooms for various events, arranging furniture, and ensuring all necessary IT equipment like laptops and conference phones are available.
  • Maintaining reception diary, booking meeting rooms/hot desks, and logging couriers and taxis.
  • Assisting with in-house events, liaising with event organisers, booking food, and handling menus & dietary needs.
  • Assisting with Health & Safety matters, supporting with DSE assessments, and undertaking building checks for maintenance issues.
  • Assisting with the archiving/retrieval of records in accordance with firm procedures and maintaining the firm’s records management database.
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Comfortable with IT setups for laptops, smartphones, WiFi access, and AV equipment, or willingness to be trained.
  • Ability to travel to all offices meeting the required start & finish times.

Required Skills:

  • Previous reception experience is preferred.
  • Experience in an office services and facilities role is advantageous.
  • Excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills.
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel to all offices meeting the required start & finish times.
