Job description

We are currently working with a leading contractor within the highways sector who is looking to recruit a Site Agent in the Normanton area.

This role will involve working days & some nights.

The projects will be a mixture of local authority & highways.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering the project effectively, often to a tight schedule

  • Drawing up a detailed plan of how to achieve each stage of the project, as well as an overall plan

  • Ensure a project team is in place and manage that team throughout the progress of the whole project

  • Ensure that each stage of the project is progressing on time and on budget and identify any issues that may prevent this from happening

  • Responsible for reporting regularly on the progress of the project to the client and/or to the senior managers

  • Managing all health and safety

What we need:

  • Tickets: SMSTS, First Aid, Highways Passport, CSCS Card, and Safety Critical Medical.
  • Right to work in the UK

  • 2 professional references
