Description

Davies Group is seeking a Vehicle Booking Agent to join our Vehicle Replacement Group team in Solihull, Birmingham. The role involves communicating sensitively with parties involved in car accidents and gathering information to process and assess claims. Customer service skills are essential; experience in insurance or credit hire is preferred but not required, as full training will be provided.

At Davies, we value transferable skills and qualities that contribute to the role. Industry experience is beneficial but not essential, as we will support your training and development from the start.

Daily Responsibilities:

  1. Process vehicle hire requests for corporate clients using our in-house system within agreed SLAs.
  2. Manage bookings of hire vehicles through the company's preferred supply chain via the in-house system.
  3. Coordinate the delivery of hire vehicles using the company's system.
  4. Handle a caseload of claims, maintaining communication with clients, insurance companies, and third parties.
  5. Keep accurate records of claim histories and statuses regarding hire decisions or arrangements.
  6. Advise clients on claims and additional services offered by the business.
  7. Ensure compliance with all technical and regulatory processes and procedures.
  8. Perform any other duties relevant to the role.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience in busy administration and customer service roles.
  • Proactive problem-solving and workload organization skills.
  • Quick learner with an ability to understand processes and technical information.
  • Background in insurance or credit hire is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office.
