About The Role

We are seeking a Strings Tutor Fellow to join our team, providing inspirational strings tuition for pupils across the academy from Year 4 to Year 11. This role is ideal for someone with a strings background aspiring to become a music teacher, offering a valuable training ground to develop teaching skills and build transformational relationships with pupils.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with young people or adults in paid or voluntary roles
  • Experience tutoring string instruments and leading ensemble work
  • A genuine passion and belief in the potential of every pupil
  • Motivation to continually improve standards and achieve excellence

About Us

We are an all-through school, with pupils from nursery to sixth form across two sites. Our long-term approach aims to make a significant impact on pupils’ lives, starting from primary education where we foster a love of learning. We adopt a mastery approach in primary, emphasizing explicit teaching of skills and concepts, complemented by a rich, culturally diverse curriculum.
