Job Description

We are recruiting an ERP Implementation Lead to join our team.

The L&G Finance function is undergoing a significant transformation through a group-wide Finance Transformation Programme. Our goal is to create a future-ready Finance function that supports our strategic objectives with greater efficiency as part of our operating model.

A key element of this transformation is the ERP Lead, responsible for designing and implementing a single ERP solution across the Group. Your role will be crucial in this process.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Defining ERP requirements and designing solutions to meet strategic objectives.
  2. Monitoring and resolving programme issues and risks, ensuring alignment with ERP governance.
  3. Advising the Change Director on outputs and outcomes to meet ERP programme needs.
  4. Optimising the timing of ERP deliverables into business operations.
  5. Aligning ERP progress with other Finance change activities to support our vision.
  6. Collaborating with Finance leads to design and implement a new ERP operating model.
  7. Building strong relationships with key Finance stakeholders and preparing business areas for new processes.
  8. Ensuring ERP compliance within the Financial Control Framework and Legal & General commitments.

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  1. Extensive experience managing and delivering ERP projects of similar scope and size.
  2. Comprehensive understanding of the Legal & General Group and its products.
  3. In-depth knowledge of finance activities and ERP applications.
  4. Proven track record of implementing significant finance changes.
  5. Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams.
  6. Skilled in influencing senior stakeholders and analyzing complex problems.
  7. Capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  8. Excellent communication, report writing, and process improvement skills.
