Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Acton, West London. The Doughlicious Brand Manager will be the custodian of the brand, responsible for developing and executing brand strategies, ideating and executing brand and shopper marketing campaigns, delivering innovation and packaging projects, and leading cross-functional teams and agency partners to drive brand growth. The role focuses on the UK market and involves collaboration with the US team to support sales, manage US shopper marketing agencies, and partners.

This position requires at least 5 years of experience in a top-tier FMCG marketing role. It suits an experienced and ambitious Brand Manager or existing Brand Marketer with a strong growth mindset seeking an exciting challenge in a high-growth environment that offers ownership and influence over the business's direction. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Be the guardian and custodian of the Doughlicious brand, maintaining and developing brand guidelines to ensure all channels and touchpoints reflect our indulgent snacking proposition.
  2. Support the Marketing Director in planning and delivering omnichannel campaigns in the UK & US markets to increase awareness, trial, and sales.
  3. Manage innovation projects, including stage-gate processes with the NPD Manager, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery of new products.
  4. Collaborate with UK/Global and US teams to create pitch decks, marketing materials, packaging, and support innovation project delivery.
  5. Track performance against KPIs, conduct category analysis, and leverage consumer insights to craft compelling selling stories.
  6. Partner with shopper agencies to execute retailer brand programs that boost awareness and sales in key accounts.
  7. Manage digital shopper marketing partners in the UK and US, including digital coupon platforms.
  8. Create engaging content and creative assets for the website, blogs, email campaigns, and digital advertising.
  9. Partner with PR agencies and external brands for collaborations that enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement.
  10. Assist the Social Media Manager in developing impactful content for our target Gen Z and Millennial audiences.
  11. Brief in-house designers and external vendors to develop sales, merchandising, and marketing tools.
  12. Share best practices, trends, and insights to inspire the marketing team.
  13. Monitor marketing effectiveness, prepare reports for the Board, and manage budgets with the Marketing Director.
  14. Coordinate with web developers to maintain and optimize the Doughlicious website for SEO.
  15. Support the Field Marketing Manager in planning and executing global events and sampling campaigns.
  16. Supervise a marketing assistant supporting various projects and sample ordering processes.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. A BA/BS in a business-related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years in consumer and shopper marketing, preferably in food and beverage.
  3. Experience managing multiple innovation, packaging, shopper, and digital marketing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Strategic and tactical operational ability in a high-energy setting.
  5. A growth or challenger brand mindset and a 'strategically scrappy' approach.
  6. Self-starter with high energy, ownership, and a positive attitude across marketing activities.
  7. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  8. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
