We support your development by providing access to courses up to and including a Master’s degree, as well as internal and external courses in management, Health & Safety, and Quality management.
Our laboratory is accredited for UKAS ISO:15189 (2022), MHRA, IIP, and as a training laboratory by the IBMS for registration and specialist portfolios leading to HCPC registration. Band 5 applicants will be supported to complete the specialist portfolio.
You will work in rotation within the Haematology and Blood Transfusion department, with future rotations into Biochemistry. The laboratory is well equipped with Abbott HQ's, Werfen TOPs, TOSOH G11, Immucor, and GLP track. Experience with automation is an advantage.
