Job Description

• Managing and reporting on capital expenditure and fixed assets
• Ensuring accurate capital accounting in accordance with the applicable standards
• Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management
• Assisting with the annual budgeting process
• Liaising with external auditors
• Providing guidance and support to other team members
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department
• Complying with all regulatory requirements and internal controls

The Successful Applicant

A successful Capital Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong knowledge of capital accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
