Salary: £41,700 - £46,500 per annum (dependent on experience) plus benefits (includes up to 12% pension contribution and income protection)
Reports to: Group Lead DMK
Department: Research and Innovation
Contract: Fixed Term Contract
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week (flexible working requests considered if they meet business needs)

We are recruiting a Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) Senior Scientist on a fixed term contract as maternity cover at Babraham Research Campus, Cambridge.
As the world's biggest medical research charity, we've helped bring eleven new cancer drugs to market. We aim to bring more effective treatments to patients faster by creating Cancer Research Horizons (CRH), uniting our drug discovery teams, leveraging our expertise, and collaborating with academic and industry partners to accelerate therapeutic development.
Based at sites in Cambridge, Glasgow, London, and Newcastle, CRH employs ~200 staff from industrial and academic backgrounds.
This lab-based role involves conducting bioanalysis, in vitro ADME assays, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic analyses related to drug metabolism and disposition. Reporting to the DMPK Group lead, you will collaborate with medicinal chemistry and cross-functional teams to advance novel therapies into clinical development.
The role suits a senior scientist with a PhD or BSc/MSc with relevant experience in life sciences and industrial pharmaceutical labs. Strong time management, relationship-building, and communication skills are essential.
