Job Description:
  • Build and maintain trust and effective working relationships with the Participant Panel leadership and members, valuing their lived experiences and perspectives.
  • Organise quarterly Participant Panel meetings, setting agendas, and ensuring standards for pre-reads, minute-taking, and action tracking.
  • Collaborate with Genomics England colleagues to involve the Participant Panel appropriately in decision-making related to participant data.
  • Maintain the Participant Panel content on the website and intranet, and assist in publicizing their activities.
  • Manage recruitment processes for Panel members and leadership roles, ensuring fairness and inclusivity.
  • Oversee governance of the Panel, keeping Terms of Reference updated and ensuring policies are followed.
  • Support Panel involvement in events and external engagements.
  • Coordinate the Communications and Engagement Working Group, working closely with the Communications Director.
  • Provide administrative support, including organizing meetings, travel, and managing the Panel inbox.
  • Embodies the organization’s virtues and leadership behaviours in all aspects of the role.
