We are searching for an experienced Senior Flutter Engineer to work in a product-centric role to help us on our mission of striving to make investing easier for all. You will put users at the forefront of the way you think and be passionate about great user experience and user interface design. Your role will be pivotal in helping us achieve our mission by developing, shaping, and iterating our customer-facing Flutter applications.

You will be working on our Dodl product that will help shape the way that people invest to secure their future financial wellbeing. Working in a small highly focused mobile application development team, you will be responsible for delivering against key company goals, not just a set of features.

What does the job involve?

• Lead and own a fast-growing project to push our mobile platform forward.
• Work with product and design teams to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Design, build and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code.
• Bring high standards and technical knowledge to our technical roadmap.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance, and security issues.
• Understand and improve our CI/CD pipelines from development through to release.
• Ensure and strive for the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Work collaboratively alongside other engineers and developers.
• Ensure that all duties are carried out with the aim of protecting customers and improving customer experience.

Competence, Knowledge and Skills

• Strong commercial experience in Flutter mobile development.
• Experience in developing consumer-facing, high-performance Flutter applications.
• Strong knowledge of Swift and Kotlin.
• Understanding of architecture principles, design patterns & SOLID principles.
• Strong knowledge with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of the Android & iOS ecosystem and libraries for common tasks.
• Experience with stakeholder management.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
