The role
We are seeking an Optimization Editor to join our UK late shift team, working from 4pm to 1am, Monday to Friday, with some weekend shifts. This role involves working within a small team of digital publishing experts to enhance our content's reach and engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong news background, expertise in digital publishing (SEO, social media, editing), and the ability to independently optimize content for large audiences. Responsibilities include crafting compelling headlines, editing news copy, and planning content around major events.
Candidates should have a keen interest in journalism's future, including AI applications on our Bulletin platform. Experience in a similar role is essential, and the role reports to the Head of Growth and other senior colleagues.
Applicants must be capable of managing multiple priorities calmly and methodically. The position offers hybrid or remote working, with periodic training at our London HQ. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
