Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing the Company’s sourcing capabilities and supply chain. The role will also be responsible for strategising to find cost effective deals and suppliers along with being responsible for purchasing strategy, policy and processes.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performing all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender management.
• Delegating tasks and supervising the wider purchasing and stock team.
• Use of Unleashed for stock ordering/management of stock ordering.
• Reviewing schedules of work.
• Using re-order reports and guidance to Stock Team.
• Reviewing Min/Max levels.
• Identifying areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results.
• Managing overall direction, coordination and evaluation of procurement for the organisation.
• Developing strong relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business.
• Creating policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation.
• Review stock ratios to ensure appropriate stock levels held.
• Monitor and action Supplier Price Changes.
• Oversee Purchase orders and parts for accuracy
• Stock deliveries and checking
• Supporting with stock management in the warehouse
• Picking parts and distributing to relevant teams
• Organising returns processes
