C++ Developer / Software Engineer (Linux / Windows) - Cambridge / WFH to £65k

Are you a C++ technologist seeking an opportunity to advance your career while working on complex and interesting systems with continuous learning opportunities?

You could join a market-leading software company whose remote access product is used by hundreds of millions worldwide.

As a C++ Developer, you will be part of the team responsible for creating the client desktop software that is central to the remote access technology. You will be involved in the full development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to design, development, and testing, focusing on backend C++ services that require scalability, handle large data volumes, and comply with security standards.

Initially, you'll work on a large project to develop the mobile application for this desktop product using Flutter and Dart (which you can learn on the job). Upcoming projects include cryptography, providing a strong pipeline of interesting work!

Location / WFH:

Enjoy a friendly and supportive team environment with the flexibility to work from home most of the time, meeting colleagues in the Cambridge office once a month.

About You:

• Strong C++ development skills
• Cross-platform experience (Linux and Windows)
• Good understanding of networking technologies, protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, multicast), and security principles/regulations
• Collaborative with clear, concise communication skills
• Relevant degree (e.g., Computer Science)
• Experience with Video codecs, Flutter/Dart mobile development is a plus but can be learned on the job
