Job Title:

Lecturer in Sport with UPS background

Location:

Highbury, Sixth Form, North Harbour, Arundel Campuses

Salary:

Pro rata, up to £29,074.42 - £42,579.53 Full Time Equivalent per annum

Job Type:

Sessional/Casual

Hours of work:

Up to 35 hours per week (inclusive of teaching and prep time), 52 weeks per year. Hours will be reviewed annually.

About the role:

The Sport and UPS Department offers courses across the Sport and Uniformed Protective Services industry. You will monitor student progress, evaluate teaching methods, and implement quality improvements to enhance teaching, student outcomes, and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a range of programmes, providing high-quality learning tailored to students' needs.
• Offer flexible assessment opportunities, and monitor student retention, achievement, and success.
• Contribute to curriculum development, including developing new programmes and annual schemes of work.

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in Sport
• Teaching Qualification or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to meet targets within deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for sport
