Our client is looking for a Track Maintenance Engineer to work on a contract basis inside IR35 from their central London location. It's a great opportunity to join a great team.

Our client, a leading specialist in the rail sector, is currently seeking a London Underground Track Maintenance Engineer for a contract position based in central London, with the option to work from home part of the time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical support to the maintenance engineering team
  • Working on Switches & Crossings, defect management, derailments, noise & vibration issues
  • Dealing with stakeholders and delivering engineering solutions
  • Conducting site visits as necessary
  • Leading and delivering technical projects and solutions
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in track maintenance and track engineering
  • Strong background in engineering, particularly with track assets
  • Excellent knowledge of Switches & Crossings (S&C)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in engineering theory and principles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • An engineering degree would be preferred but not essential
