Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a well-regarded firm of chartered accountants in Bolton who are looking to add an experienced Accounts Technician / Accounts Senior to their team.

Job Responsibilities

As an Accounts Technician, your role will involve working with a variety of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a range of business sectors. The workload will be diverse and will include:

1. Preparation of year-end accounts
2. Management accounts
3. Bookkeeping
4. VAT work

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have experience in a varied general practice role and may be AAT Qualified or Qualified by Experience. Individuals studying ACCA / ACA will also be considered.

Skills Required

• AAT Qualified / AAT Part Qualified / QBE
• Year-end accounts preparation experience
• Experience of working in practice is essential
• An up-to-date knowledge of all relevant accounting standards
• Strong accounting software experience
