Ladies 1XI Coach / Player Coach

We are looking for an experienced coach or player coach who is UK based and able to commit for at least 2 seasons.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

• Select and lead a performance driven squad with an agreed set of principles and behaviours.
• Apply excellent knowledge of game tactics and how to embed them into the team.
• Produce challenging weekly session plans for Wednesday nights and attend all league fixtures on Saturdays.
• Utilise our VEO video camera, supported by 4 video analysts, to provide clipped footage for match performance analysis and feedback to players.
• Create an environment to attract new players.
• Work with our 2/3XI squads to align player development opportunities.
• Provide positive input across the ladies' section and into the whole club.
• Maintain the 1XI integration within the club that contributes to social activities, coaching, fundraising, or umpiring for other teams.
• Hold an England Hockey UKCC level 2, FIH Level 2 or above coaching qualification, or a significant level of high-level coaching.
• Possess a First Aid Certificate and DBS Check.
• Have a track record of successful positive coaching delivery.
• Exhibit excellent people skills with a firm but fair coaching style.
